Defenders of the Banc (DOTB) is the LAFC Podcast for the People. Christian “Filly” Filimon and “The Scarf” J.R. Lebert embody the family friendly, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), connecting with listeners around the globe.

A rare example of a born-and-raised Angelino, J.R. Lebert is a middle school teacher by day and podcast personality by night. There was no Gareth Bale miraculous goal, no comeback just in the nick of time, and no major championship trophy hoisted by LAFC this season. Despite chance after chance, the boys in Black and Gold fell just short yet again, losing to the Crew in the MLS Cup Final, 2-1.
